The smallest building in the pilot — and it still paid off

In water terms the city hall's office building is a crumb: 102 m³ of water saved a year against 1,784 m³ in the residential facility. The investment was proportionately low — ≈ 1 266 € (31,006 CZK) — and the annual saving ≈ 730 € (17,846 CZK).

An office has a different profile from a residential operation

Water use fell by 10.64 %, the heat for warming it by only 1.23 %. In an office, water is used briefly and mostly cold, so the saving comes from limiting the flow while washing hands, not from heating. It is the lowest percentage of the whole pilot — and that is exactly why we publish it.
