What you are dealing with

Priorities in a healthcare setting

In healthcare this is not primarily about the price of an aerator — it is about hygiene, safety and meeting the rules. The operating saving is a bonus on top.

01

Legionella prevention

Standing water and aerosol in showers are a risk. Drain and flush valves and a laminar stream reduce it.

02

Hygiene without aerosol

A laminar (non-aerated) stream for sensitive settings — it limits droplet dispersal at the outlet.

03

Aerator replacement and maintenance

A system with a replaceable core and limescale prevention simplifies routine maintenance.

04

Operating savings

Lower water use and less energy for hot water — evidenced by measurement, with a fast payback.

A stream without aerosol

A laminar stream where it matters

An ordinary aerator draws air into the stream — it feels fuller and uses less water. On wards with vulnerable patients we want the opposite: a continuous laminar stream with no air drawn in, which limits droplet dispersal at the outlet. Choosing between the two is part of the audit, not of a catalogue.

The clinical range

Swapping the insert without tools or dismantling

In a hospital, replacing outlet components on a cycle is the norm, not the exception. On the clinical range the core comes out and goes back in by hand — no key, no dismantling the tap, no basin out of service. Colour coding also keeps track of what was changed when. That is the difference between maintenance that happens on schedule and maintenance that gets put off.

Data for the report, the certification and hygiene requirements

The audit supplies quantified, evidenced figures (m³, kWh, currency, CO₂). rewater is your enabler, not your certifier.
