The longest measured series in our portfolio. This facility of the Liberec Region (Czechia) kept its own monthly readings after the June 2025 installation, and itself rests the credibility of the result on the length of the series rather than on a one-off figure.
Most case studies rest on a comparison of a few months. Here the components were fitted back at the end of June 2025, so by the time of signing there was almost a year of monthly readings — and across every month they pointed the same way. That is a different class of evidence from one good quarter.
“We have almost a year of monthly readings behind us, and it is precisely the length of that series that we find more conclusive than any one-off result.”
In the letter the facility itself points out the limit of the whole measure — and it is the most valuable sentence in it. Roughly half the home's consumption is the laundry and the kitchen, where saving components at the outlet do nothing. So the 16.9 % saving on total consumption in fact arose on only the half the measure touches. That is exactly why we distinguish the reduction in flow at a tap from the fall in consumption of a whole building — the first is always markedly higher.
“Roughly half our consumption is the laundry and the kitchen, which the saving components cannot reach; that makes it all the more valuable to us that total consumption came down.”
The second thing the facility notes matters to a residential service at least as much as the saving: over the whole period they recorded not a single complaint from residents or staff about water pressure.
| Facility | Jablonecké Paseky care home, Jablonec nad Nisou — Liberec Region, Czechia |
| Installation | 27 June 2025 |
| What was measured | Water use at the meter, i.e. the whole building — not individual outlets |
| Period | July 2025 – May 2026 against the same months of the previous year (3,258 vs 3,920 m³) |
| Result | −16.9 % over the whole window; for January–May 2026 alone, −20.9 % |
| Saving | ~722 m³ a year ≈ ≈ 5 714 € (140,000 CZK) a year |
| Investment | ≈ 2 000 € (49,989 CZK) excl. VAT → payback ~4 months |
| Estimate vs. actual | The quotation assumed a saving of 480 m³. The actual figure came out at 722 m³. |
A measured audit sets the baseline before installation, so the result can be evidenced just as here.
We calculate the saving potential and the hygiene risks.
